Als Solution Architect Cloud & AI Platforms verantwortest du die End-to-End-Architektur von KI-Lösungen auf Azure und stellst die Ausrichtung am Azure Well-Architected Framework sicher. Damit schaffst du stabile, sichere und skalierbare Plattformen.

Architekturen gestaltest du so, dass Security, Reliability, Performance, Kostenoptimierung und operative Exzellenz von Anfang an berücksichtigt sind.

Enterprise-weite Landing Zones und Umgebungstopologien definierst und implementierst du gemäß Azure Cloud Adoption Framework und legst damit die Grundlage für skalierbare und konforme KI-Entwicklung.

Darüber hinaus entwickelst und pflegst du Referenzarchitekturen, Architectural Decision Records (ADRs) sowie Infrastructure-as-Code- und CI/CD-Templates, die Teams durch Spikes, Proofs of Concept und Referenzimplementierungen führen.

Production-Readiness stellst du sicher, indem du Sicherheits- und Datenschutzkontrollen, Observability-Standards, Hochverfügbarkeits- und Disaster-Recovery-Konzepte sowie Performance-Baselines etablierst.

Design-Reviews und Technologie-Evaluationen führst du eigenständig durch und berätst fundiert zu Build-vs.-Buy-Entscheidungen sowie zur Auswahl geeigneter Runtimes.

In enger Zusammenarbeit mit Security, Data, Operations, Compliance und Plattform-Teams treibst du Architekturentscheidungen voran und dokumentierst diese nachvollziehbar über ADRs.

Architektur-Optionen und Trade-offs zu Risiko, Kosten und Time-to-Value kommunizierst du adressatengerecht – sowohl gegenüber technischen als auch nicht-technischen Stakeholdern.

As a Solution Architect for Cloud & AI Platforms, you design and oversee end-to-end AI solution architectures on Azure, ensuring alignment with the Azure Well-Architected Framework. This enables secure, scalable, and cost-efficient platforms.

Architectures are shaped to address security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and operational excellence from the outset.

You define and implement enterprise-scale landing zones and environment topologies in line with the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, enabling compliant and scalable AI development across the organization.

In addition, you create and maintain reference architectures, architectural decision records (ADRs), and Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD templates to guide teams through spikes, proofs of concept, and reference implementations.

Production readiness is ensured by establishing security and privacy controls, observability standards, high availability and disaster recovery strategies, and performance baselines prior to deployment.

You conduct design reviews and technology evaluations, providing clear guidance on build-versus-buy decisions and runtime selection.

Working closely with Security, Data, Operations, Compliance, and Platform teams, you drive architecture alignment and document decisions through ADRs.

Architecture options and trade-offs related to risk, cost, and time-to-value are communicated clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ein abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Software Engineering oder eines vergleichbaren technischen Studiengangs bildet die Grundlage für diese Rolle.

Langjährige Erfahrung in der Solution Architecture, im Cloud Engineering oder Platform Engineering, ergänzt durch nachgewiesene Azure-Expertise.

Der sichere Umgang mit Azure Landing Zones, dem Azure Well-Architected Framework sowie dem Cloud Adoption Framework gehört für dich zum Standard.

Tiefe Kenntnisse in AI-/ML-Plattformen wie Azure OpenAI, Azure ML und MLOps-Pipelines sowie in modernen Datenarchitekturen bringst du mit.

Infrastructure-as-Code und Automatisierung setzt du routiniert ein, insbesondere mit Terraform, Bicep oder ARM Templates sowie CI/CD-Pipelines.

Erfahrung im Aufbau von Security Controls, Observability-Patterns und Production-Readiness-Standards zeichnet dich aus.

Cloud-native Architekturen, Microservices und Containerisierung (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) beherrschst du auf Expertenniveau.

Netzwerke, Identity Management (Azure AD, RBAC) und Compliance-Frameworks sind dir in der Praxis vertraut.

Architektonische Entscheidungen validierst du pragmatisch über Prototypen und Proofs of Concept.

Die Dokumentation von Architekturen sowie die Arbeit mit ADR-Prozessen sind für dich selbstverständlich.

Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind erforderlich, Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.

A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, software engineering, or a comparable technical field forms the foundation for this role.

Extensive experience in solution architecture, cloud engineering, or platform engineering, complemented by proven expertise in Microsoft Azure.

Confident use of Azure Landing Zones, the Azure Well-Architected Framework, and the Cloud Adoption Framework is standard practice for you.

You bring deep knowledge of AI and ML platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and MLOps pipelines, as well as modern data architectures.

You apply Infrastructure-as-Code and automation with confidence, particularly using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience in establishing security controls, observability patterns, and production readiness standards is a strong part of your background.

You demonstrate expert-level proficiency in cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.

You are practically familiar with networking, identity management (Azure AD, RBAC), and compliance frameworks.

You validate architectural decisions pragmatically through prototypes and proofs of concept.

Architecture documentation and working with ADR processes are a natural part of how you operate.

Your working style is pragmatic and collaborative, balancing innovation with operational excellence.

Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, are required; German language skills are a plus.
